We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Assistant Production Manager to join our team on Renown Dairy Unit. Situated near Taupo, Renown is a 700 effective ha property, which will operate on OAD milking through a 60 bail rotary this season for approximately 1800 cows.
You will be required to work closely with the Dairy Production Manager (2IC) to plan and help manage the daily operations of the farm, therefore having good experience in animal health and pasture management is essential to being successful in this role.
Accommodation may be available and will be discussed with the successful candidate. The location provides easy access to primary schooling with a great range of recreational activities on your doorstep. What you will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in dairy farming preferred
- Knowledge of modern NZ dairy farming practices
- First class attitude to Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Management
- Great team player and effective communication skills
- Pride in your work and surrounding environment
- Restricted or full NZ driver’s licence
